Paypal Holds for non ebay items
 

Dear fellows,
I have a quick question to ask.If anyone has knowledge or experience with this, it would be helpful to share.

I would want to start selling on auction websites other than ebay, who accept paypal.

Will paypal still hold funds for items sold through those websites , and if so, then what is the way to get around it.As far as I know, in ebay its very easy to achieve this by getting 20 DSR ,and then you wont get held up, but what about the rest of websites. forexample ebid.

I'm not sure about other auction site but i own a few websites and the money that comes from them hasn't been held

Holds only occur on eBay. No other company in their right mind would go along with that, assuming they want to keep the sellers they have.

Yeah, thats true. As far as i am aware, only ebay conspires or agrees with paypal to hold our precious cash in the name of 21 day rubbish hold

its not just about DSR it is also about how long you have been registered on the site for instance you might have only been on ebay 14 days and have 24 feedbacks but you money will still get put on hold but then you could be on for 38 days have 7 pos feedbacks and your money will not get held, it will work the same way for all sites to try to avoid fraud

Sorry to say guys I sell a few bits on ebid and everything I have sold on there was held for the full 21 days even after it has been delivered via courier I think PayPal hold anything that comes in that isn't marked as from friends and family now on
