Opening New Bank Account?
 

I have just opened another bank account which is an off shoot to my other account which have been used for a previous paypal account. I am going to use this new bank account to open a new stealth paypal account but the only thing is I have noticed it has a brand new account number but the same sort code number as my other account. Will paypal spot this? Or should I go ahead and use this new account. Just want to check before I try it.

Sort code means nothing , everyone with a BA at your bank will have the same one

Yes - each account is treated differently - the bank sort code would be associated with hundred's if not thousand's of accounts...no need to be afraid of this.

Just make sure you don't type in your old account by accident =)

Sort code is the bank (ie Barc, Lloyds etc) plus the branch, everyone at that branch will have the same one...

nothing to worry about there...
