Hello,

I have a question for UK stealthers....

Does anyone know what bank account will work with a USA stealth account, if you and your bank are based in the UK? Obviously use a VPN and phone forwarding for the USA account... but as far as withdrawing funds.... Paypal states the currencies must match up... but I'm confident it's up to the bank to allow the deposit to come in.

Any advice/answers?

not sure about the first part of your q but uk bank will not allow transaction in other currency's, i have ccnow mail my cheques and they come in usd the bank makes a charge of between 10-18 gbp to convert it then put in my account

You have a USA paypal... but you yourself are in the UK. How would you go about getting money out? (without access to a USA bank)

no i don't have a usa paypal but that is irrelevant, if you send funds other than gbp to a u.k bank account it will be denied because they only accept gbp, you have to fill out a form and sign it before they will convert money and it can take from 4-6 weeks

If I (I being a UK resident) have a paypal account based in the USA (that is to say paypal thinks I live in the USA) and I want to withdraw those funds... how should I go about getting paid?

Did you not try Auctionchex they used to be cheaper than a bank at cashing cheques but I have not used them for a while.

Your bank will allow other currencies but they have to go through IBAN but as you say they bleed you dry with fees.

So you mean use a UK bank account on a US paypal account pretending to live in the US?

Why would be the first question, as you would be posting internationally, and would not last five minutes on ebay, unless you want access to US dropshippers?

You cannot add a UK bank to a US paypal. Therefore UK stealthers can only withdraw from their USA paypal if they have a real US bank or if they have just used a VBA, they cannot withdraw to it, and therefore use various stealth ways to withdraw , mainly it would be transfer to a UK paypal or others which are very bothersome and too many to list .........

There are various worldwide paypal sites that do accept US bank accounts, so I would avoid UK, and go for another site, I can confirm that my Luxembourg paypal accepts US banks, however I just withdraw to a card so have not needed to add a US account. If you need further advise on this PM me, however I warn you it isnt easy option.

youve read my first post here? wow, Id like to see that, I wouldnt know where to find it as my stats are so huge they cut off at millionth post. I was in a panic, having had 4 accounts limited and having to refund my buyers, and asking advicefor newbies, I recall GB and HWGA responding.

FE, best way round this, what in terms of adding banks? I cannot think of any. You must either make account in country that accepts US bank, I can think of several,

or make it in a country that accepts visa withdrawal. I suppose you have the tor/vpn route to make them or visit countries in person to make, or buy ready-made ones.

There are no VBA in UK either, so cant even verify and cash out.

I am guessing you are looking for a way around ssn but I do not recommend UK eb for non Uk residents, there are easier countries, it is the bank that is the most difficult part in UK IMO
