adress variation
 

hi i'm in the process of starting up a stealth ebay account,i was wondering if i could use a variation of my adress to use as my new adress,what i mean is if my old ebay address was(this is a made up adress for use as an example) 9 birkdale close newton hyde. could i use 9b irkdale newtonhyde
the post code though would be the same,would this be ok and not get linked to old ebay account via address,also i have used my own name but mispelled slightly and added junior at the end of my surname,as this would then match up with a new bank account...can anybody help
ps could i use a nearby pay phone for ebay and pp verification or do you have to have a landline that matches address:peace:

Variation of address works.

Same postal code will likely link and kill you - need to vary too. Think about it - manual review of paypal can happen (not all automatic) - manual review with similar name, similar address but exact postal code = game over.

Change of name slightly works.

Any payphone nearby that COULD work has probably been used before so...don't do it.

I was very skeptic about using slight variations at first, but for me, so far so good. Like RSOT said, use variation for street numbers, street name, postal zip and your name and you should be fine.:thumb:

address variations are tricky... as well as phone numbers...

let me ask you though, do you HAVE to have this address on your account? What would prevent you from putting a big note in your product shipments telling people what the return address really is?
