Any working methods for ebay phone verification (UK)?

how can I verify my ebay phone number, I have a phone landline phone in my flat, but the only thing is it has an extension and ebay wont let me put in the extension.

I tried tossable digits earlier and the call came through to my mobile phone
the the automated call said "please press 3 if you are expecting this call"

I did press 3 on the keypad but nothing was happening, I have tried it several times

any help would be much appreciated.

Go to sipgate.co.uk

sign up for a free number that relates to your location ( eg london, etc )

Then download phonerlite. Input your details from your sipgate account that you make, input your new number into paypal >>> phone verification done. Remember only 3 attempts good luck

Ive signed up to sipgate and input the information into phonerlite but whenever someone tries to contact the number they can't get through and I get a missed call message on sipgate.

Does anyone know what the problem is here.
