how many bank accounts have some of you got in the uk ?
 

just wanted to no how many bank accounts/debit cards some of you have in the uk ??

im going to try open some more up 2mow just wondered what the limit was realy ?

im with the abbey and have about 3 accounts at the mo

no limit, but use common sense, I ve seen people with 20-50 on the forum or so they say, that is a bit extreme. 5-10 is perfectly ok though depending on your credit.

I only have 1 but will make more soon, can you have 2 accounts for a bank as I am with Barclays and thinking of opening another soon, will they ask any questions.

at least 15 banks accounts between 6 different banks. Most banks will allow you to open online savings accounts which work fine for paypal.

i didnt think savings accounts worked ? i see alot of posts about them not working but you say there ok for you then

i only want about 10 at the max i just thought they had to be current accounts or is it any with a direct debit

ok so 2mows misson is to a few banks to try open up some more accounts.will any account work as long as it has a direct debit ?

im going to try the bank im with 1st and see if i can have some more accounts as 3 is not enuff :(

Try natwest you can have upto 3 current accounts with them, also see if friends or family will open accounts for you, I have 9 but only 3 in my name, and not all in use, just remember until you start to use them keep the bank happy by depositing amounts in every month, I have a couple of grand that travels around these unused accounts every month, this way the bank sees that its used, i hope this is of some help to you:noidea:

another little problem ive got is ive got alot of stock that i want to sell but im just worryed about the paypal recieve/withdraw limits :( ive got 3 items on ebay at the mo i just dont wanna risk listing more , my stealth is a month old 2mow

im in the same problem but from what ive learnt on here and from the book slowly slowly is the way, maybe while your waiting for this account to mature a little you can work on new ones, but im sure ppl on here can give you better advise on this than me

i dont mind going slow all i need to do is sell a few items a week say 2-4 items per ebay account surely thats not too much is it.each item is £50

from what ive read on here with a 2 month old account no that should be fine although others on here will know better about that than me, was it ebay or paypal you had a problem with ?
