Paypal pending for long time now
 

I made a withdrawal of £100 on 3rd November and been showing up as PENDING for the past few days now.
This was my first withdrawal to santander bank.
Any reason why its taking so long? it usually shows up as COMPLETED within a day!?!?!?

mine normaly stay pending for 4-5 days with that bank :( bloody useless people

It was a BIN auction with 5 items so that could be another factor.
I have been with this bank for years and always used them for stealth and they always took 1-2days maximum. Theyre so crap though. The queues in the bank are terrible! The last 4 times i went in there, there were people shouting at the staff because of waiting times. The staff cant even count. They short-changed me by £60 once!!

thats just the problem i had when i went in there lol every1 was moaning and there was no1 at the help desk so i went and stopped some1 and said come and help me out now or im canceling all my bank accounts
(ive been there years as well)

so they sat there saying we are so sorry about all of this we are low staffed lol how can a bank with millons/billons of doe employer bloody school leavers who are as thick as to planks......

as for 1-2 days your so lucky i have to wait 4 days at the minimum :(

yeh your not wrong there mate. i made friends with some of the youngens int here who would dish out current accounts to me nilly willy. they all said is was crap working for them and that they employ anyone. I actually did make a massive withdrawal after they fobbed me off £60...soon after that the bank manager was "best chums" with me ;-) still hate em though lol what can you do eh?

i have never witnessed such a crap service like i do from santander it is unreal !!!!

Never had this problem. Longest wait on pending is no more than 36 hours. It's always within my bank in 3 working days, the longest ever was 4 days.

What recently or has it always been this long?!..

i have had to wait the full 5 days loads of times :( maybe its just crappy santander

i found with lloyds its pending for 5 days, my last withdraw took 7 days monday to monday, it said completed on the 6th day in paypal.

So do you think this is something to do with paypal or with the bank?
Mines saying Completed today, now I gotta wait ANOTHER 5 working days before I even see the money...that will be 9 days!!!

usually it takes a day to go from pending to completed then another 5 days to reach bank.
I guess the money got sent but the 'pending' never got changed to 'completed' in time

what normaly happens to me it stays pending for the 4-5 working days,i wake up in the morning and check and it says completed then i check online banking and its there :)

just checked..nothing yet. hopefully tomorrow, fingers crossed!

Do you recall what time you did the transfer out of paypal? Techincally if you did it after branch closing time, the action to get the funds to your bank can be delayed until re-opening the next business day. Although it is goes electronically, it sits in cyberspace. :pop2: I find it easier to transfer either B4 15:00pm or after 04:00AM.

It was before 10:00am I remember doing it in the morning. Guess we shall see if it comes on Monday else I'll call up paypal

checked again this afternoon, still not received the money which was withdrawn from paypal on the 3rd of Nov.
Withdrew a 2nd amount yesterday, still showing up as pending :(

Never heard of it taking this long. Can you cancel it still?

by the amount of time i have had to wait recently it should be there wenesday, i suspect it will be there tomorrow at some point but i would start crying if it's not there the day after.

On 1 of my Stealth Accounts recently I've had to wait around 4 days for withdrawal to go from pending to complete and then 2-3 days on top of that to show in the bank. This has happened twice in the last 3 weeks on 1 account yet other withdrawals have shown as complete within 24hrs easily. Paypal are so random. Difficult to see a pattern with them.

I wouldn't panic yet.

I got the money yesterday on the 10th Nov. I have made other withdrawals since the 3rd and they are all showing up as Pending even 3 days after I made the withdrawal. Is it just me this is happening to? Whats going on here?!?!!

I dont think you are the only one, i think it maybe down to address mismatch, i know a couple of people having the same problem but it's with a certain bank with the black horse, others i know with address mismatch at other banks are not unless your the first and rereading your post you are as far as i know.

i think we might start to see this more often.

This is so weird. I made a withdrawal on the 11th and its Pending. I made another withdrawal on the 12th and its Completed...?!?!
Does day of the week make a difference??

I know, when things like this happen I remember to think that I should never get to comfortable on an account. You never know when they going to hit you. Have you tried transferring another payment to see if the same thing happens?

The same PP and another 1?
