| oompaloompa | 11-05-2010 02:59 PM | Uk mobile broadband daily rate is anyone paying the £2 a day or whatever daily rate is for o2 or three or the other ones, how much browsing and ebay use do you get, sites say about 5 hours? I just need occasional differnt ips so thinking of switching to that instead of contract or £10 top ups for whole month..
3 coverage is pants, thinking of changing to another one, vodaphone is good, any others to recommend |
stickmade | 11-05-2010 05:05 PM | 3 & vodafone have the biggest coverage in the UK for mobile broadband, to my knowledge, because i myself was looking for something cheaper & faster but couldn't find any
PS . i know a trick to get you 2months 3network unlimited broadband for each £10 top up ;) |
3connect do £15 p/mth and you get 3gig and that will easily last for ya ebay dealings for that month,3 seems good to me but i have not used any others, heard voda and orange are good too, that £2 a day is not the way to go oompa,30 days @ £2 is £60 and thats a rip off, even if you use it 15 days out of the month ya much better off gettin 3gig for £15 |

£2.00 a day that 60pcm WHY ?
Think o2 is 3 pounds a day
My mate has voda and that seems to work well, but give me o2 any day. |
oompaloompa | 11-06-2010 07:27 AM | £2 a day, now and again say twice a month, just enough to manage some accounts on varied ips...I dont mean £2 every single day...thats how I understood the deal, are you saying its not how I read it?
Ive got x2 different home broadband, x2 different contract dongles, x2 payg dongles - so I am not short of internet.
These £2 ones are for lisiting on other smaller accounts...
well I find them all quite slow.......... |
forummember | 11-06-2010 05:17 PM | I got a 3 dongle and at first the reception was really bad just like yours. But now its a fast as ever, I tried it all around my house and found the perfect spot.
Vodafone is the fastest and 3 comes in second. 3 and Voadfone have got rates, £15 for 3gb a month. On the 3 dongle the IP changes everytime. |
Stigger | 11-07-2010 10:58 AM | from 25th oct o2 is £1 a day. |
oompaloompa | 11-07-2010 12:50 PM | £1 whoa thats good, only downside of o2, is last time I looked you couldnt top up with vouchers over the counter, it had to be online via card.....but I will look in to that one... |
£1 a day,thats brill,how many meg do you get?
and do you get a different ipz every time too? |
sugarlaces | 11-08-2010 04:17 AM | sign up for bt broadband. They offer dynamic i.ps. Everytime you require a new i.p restart the hub. I have been doing ir for years and been fine with it. |
what,so you can you just logg off and back on again with bt bb?
like with a dongle yeah? |
isitworththestress | 11-08-2010 11:09 AM | Yes BT IPs do not seem to stick any length of time, Every time I turn it off, even for a few seconds, there is a new IP once it restarts. |

dburnside | 11-30-2010 08:21 PM | do 3 mobile broadband not give u diff ip addresses? i use that for mine and always get a diff i when i login |
3 mobile dongles do give a different ip everytime you logg on!
most dongles do as far as im aware |
dburnside | 12-03-2010 10:53 AM | i use my sim card from my fone for ebay, have unlimited internet on my contract so why pay extra? |
what so you put your mobile sim in a dongle and use that for ebay?
thats great aslong as the ip changes everytime you logg on/off which i imagine it does.
if ip`z change and you have unlimited internet you dont need anything else | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 12:13 PM. | |
