UK IP address for Irish Ebay.ie and paypal
 

If I use a Three dongle (dynamic IP adddress) in the UK to log into and Irish Ebay and Paypal account, will this flag up? will they see that the dongle is in the UK and not Ireland?

you may be flagged for geo location, broadbands are getting really specific unlike the way they used to be, look it up under whatsmyip and you will see the postcode of nearest mast!! If you are flagged just say your registered home or work is Irish but you are in UK temporarily.

I was flagged on a Europe account, one bit further away fairly recently, I gave that excuse and it was fine, priviliges restored, but I am planning to change it to a unique
ip vpn shortly, this may be an idea for you, it can get expensive though, so wait until they flag you, which may not even happen, before you make changes that would be an option, although be prepared to provide ID.

People travel all over the world and access their ebay accounts from wherever they are, so not alot of issues within Europe for occasional use - yet

I was in Ireland recently according to my IP so if you were using BT you could end up there anyway, but not sure how wide three is.

They may just ask to confirm the computer with a pin via phone call or email, happens all day to me on european accounts.Just happened now while listing, its normal.Id just leave the cookies on .
