Verification??
 

Paypal want me to verify my account card number etc again & want me to upgrade to a business account?? I don't want to upgrade to business & should I b worried that coz a set amount has come into my account that's why they are checking it?? Where do I go from here?? I've asked them to down grade me to a personal account!! But where can this go to??

I think they will ask you for scanned documents to prove your identity regardelss of adding a new card & bank account. Unless you can get those documents (When they ask, and they will) the account will be limited for 6 months.

Has anyone other than me sent these documents in and got through the process.

It worked for me sending in the documents but that could have been down to circumstances but has it worked for others?

And the circumstances for me were I sort of forced it on a new account through using the info gained on here just to see what would happen and I must say everyone was spot on.

Sometimes it works and sometimes it does not.

It depends on what docs they ask for, how good the docs are and even who is reviewing it.

There are two schools of thought on this.

One is to try to force this quickly, as the account is a little safer once this is completed. The other is to avoid it for as long as possible.

What will work for you will depend on your experience and how you do business.

Sometimes you can sort that out on the phone with paypal..if they ask you if you want personal or business account..ask paypal what they suggest on what you are selling etc...sometimes they dont want iphones cameras etc being sold on a business account so they took me back to personal and i just carried on as exactly as before..

everytime ive been asked for documents to be sent they have limited me, i think they only ask for them so that they have your id knowing that they are going to limit you to try to stop you opening another account, may be wrong but its what i believe
