best way to buy from wholesaler overseas

i need to make a payment to my supplier overseas but i dont want to use paypal, western union is out of the question, any ideas???

Imback2010 11-20-2010 09:48 PM

escrow.com ??

GTB 11-21-2010 03:12 PM

dont think they accept that, thanks though
what about moneygram?

Imback2010 11-22-2010 03:10 AM

Is this your first time dealing with this seller?

If so maybe you can get him to send you a sample(s)?

And moneygram and western don't provide protection.. So that's why I said escrow.

But more choices are alertpay and ccnow and paymate..and money bookers also

holymoly 11-22-2010 06:37 AM

alertpay/escrow/e-gold/moneybookers all provide buyer/seller protection. That is really all I trust and have used before. I can't tell you anything else.

sorry for not responding earlier, they accept paypal, moneygram and western union, cant i pay their paypal account with one of the above accounts like moneybookers etc

forummember 11-27-2010 07:16 AM

I wouldn't do moneygram or western union. PayPal's a bit dodgy to.

teedon 12-01-2010 12:12 PM

Tell some of your local friends to pay it after inspect the goods and then pick up from there.

GTB 12-02-2010 06:05 PM

the company im going to buy from is a power seller on trade key with over 6000 feedback points, they only accept moneygram and western union,no paypal or any of the other suggestions......
ive heard a few people say they use western union but thats with a trust worthy supplier after many transactions
tbh i do trust that this supplier will send the goods, they seem to be a top company
i think many of the top suppliers nowadays dont use paypal because of the problems they can cause, anyways wish me luck & i will keep youz posted

If you absolutely must - and you have the credit available of course - opt for funding your moneygram and western union transaction with your credit card. This is possible if you can use their online sites.

Other than that, best of luck. If your seller did accept paypal, you could use a credit card not associated with another paypal account and just send money...you would also get a new paypal account in effect...

Keep us posted.

rsot bud, thay dont accept paypal but i think you might of just helped me out there mate,
so if i top up my entropay vcc,and fund moneygram by the vcc,if it goes balls up i could do a chargeback, would this be ok???

alexzin 12-03-2010 02:36 AM

I don't think so that entropy would accept you to do that and Moneybookers either.

Anyway,if you just wanted to try their service.Don't do much before you completely trust them.
