UK Paypal & Electoral Roll Verification

Hi, I am new to this and I have purchased the eBay Stealth Book. I have opened a stealth paypal account but I cannot remove the receiving limit of £1900. It asks for my personal information and when I do a "name variation" and "address variation" as described in the book but when it comes to verifying it always fails.

Has anyone else come across this problem and got a way around it?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Also is it something to do with the electoral roll or credit checks?
Thanks.

i think its electronic check, wont matter as they will jsut ask you to confirm via a credit card (use entropay) and a quick automatic call where you enter the pin.

No its not, I don't think.
I have confirmed all of the other options ie. withdrawing limit, sending limit and they were confirmed using bank details. Those limits have been lifted.
I think they have updated their system and now the details have to match to the electoral roll to actually confirm you are who you say you are person to lift the receiving limit for EU regulations.

as above m8 you should get a pin to verify your address. i've just created 2 more accounts & thats what i got cos my addy's aren't real. verified straight away after inputting the 4 digit pin number over the phone.

did you match your stealth addy with a landline geolocation, if not, paypal know and issue a request for extra varification.

I think I have found the problem. I checked the card details and I linked and cofirmed my card. Now its asking for the £1 withdrawal "4 digit code" on the statement to confirm my identity.
Hopefully fingers crossed it goes through using this code.
I will let you know how I get on in a few days.

What bank you using?

It is just some banks are known to send back the real data connected to the bank

TSB is one of them and there may be a list around on others that do the same.

It will work but you'll still have your recieving limits. When I hit my limit I failed the electronic verificationa few times, then it put me onto phone verification which I did successfully, but my account was still limited giving me no other option to lift the limits.

So I phoned them and told them what happend and they removed the limits. :cheer:

They will probably ask for documents to verify your identity though, I got lucky. You may need to get creative.

Im using a barclays account.

Also when I now click the link to lift the receiving limit the electronic check does not come up anymore, instead it is asking for a 4 digit pin which will be in the description for the £1 debit.

I will input this when I get it but if it still asks for the electronic check after this do I just keep clicking verify on the electronic check page and will it automatically go to phone verification?

Thanks.

Yea, thats right; after you do it 2-3 times it will go to phone verification.

Verified by phone via VOIP but the limits were still there. So I emailed them saying that I have verified all the information that they asked for.
Got a reply off them saying that I have verified everything and the limit should remove itself automatically when I reach £0.
We'll see what happens when I reach the limit.
Thanks for all the help.

I just followed the eBay Stealth book word for word. It's simple when you read through it a few times. Just add your account, I don't think they check if the name matches up with the paypal details. Just add your account no & sort code.
