ebay account verification problem
 

I am trying to verify my stealth account over the phone and it won't work for some reason, seems like there is an internal problem with ebay.

I created my stealth accounts a few weeks ago and have been letting them age. I have got a new phone number through sipgate.co.uk and have tested it, it's working fine. So, I log into my ebay account, list an item to sell complete the listing and click continue. At this point it asks me to log into ebay again, I am then re-directed to the phone varification screen where it says in a red box 'We were not able to verify the phone number you provided. Please try again'

I've tried entering the phone number associated with that account again, click continue but it just brings me back to the same error message again and again.

Does anyone know what am I doing wrong?

just give it a try in a few days might be a prob there end

Problems in the UK? I just made a few accounts yesterday...when were you experiencing troubles. They usually have these glitches fixed within hours, not days.

'sigate' might be causing a glitch. That said, ebay/paypal uk have been stellar in their NON performance these past 14 days.

Sipgate has been going down a lot recently; I keep going to make new accounts then when I start their website is down :-{

Glad you got it sorted mate, can i ask how long you had the sipgate number before your tried to use it with the bay

i usually have to wait 24 hours before they work .

sumtimes sip plays up for me didnt think of waiting 24 hours and trying it

I've used them loads of times right after I make them, always works. :_)
