Yea, anything other than Lloyds TSB really; Smile.co.uk, Bank of Scotland & Santander to name a few.

What is the worst case scenario .. ?

I have 5 lloyds saving accounts all withdrawing around £500 per month.. i transfer to my current and withdraw.. ?

Is this a problem, reason being i have recieved a letter stating the bank manager would like to have a meeting with me ?

I don't know about in the UK, but when a bank manager wants to have a meeting...it's something IMPORTANT and might be bad. In any case, you look through the forum...you will see which banks give out your name and which ones are easiest/most recommended.

It will probably be to ask you why your transferring money in those names.

I got questioned by Lloyd's why i was transferring money in names other than my own, i just told her the truth and she was well cool about it.

What money are you holding in your accounts and does the tax man know, as if you have over three thousand in any account then they have to send that info to the taxman. It used to be two thousand but I am sure they raised it to three along with the increase for the ISAs

If you are moving money around and maybe moving large amounts between accounts then that could also have triggered the same thing.
But they may just be wanting to offer you an ISA account or as others have said and wanting to know what you are up to with the different names.

Let us know when you find out?
