Viop Phone forwarding for mobile
 

i have register with sipgate, i got my self land line number thats should divert to my mobile, but when i called it, the number is not active, the call end automaticity, can anyone give me any advise about this

Have you set up the call forwarding correctly, I had the same problem with mine but it turns out I never saved my call forwarding settings.

If you go to sipgate, sign in and select settings (under your name top right of page), select call forwarding and add a new rule to forward to your mobile, make site and save the new rule or it will not work.

this is because call forwarding costs... the best thing you can do is set up phonelite and listen to the phone call through your earphones on your computer/laptop...

I've download phonerlite to use with my sipgate number, but when I get a call I can not hear the caller, they can hear me.

do I have to buy a microphone to hear callers?

Is the volume on your earphones muted or turned up... there is obviously a connection as they can hear you.

Do your earphones have a mic already attatched? If not then you may have the earphone jack in to microphone plug, which would indicate as to why they can hear you, but you're unable to hear them..

I didnt need a microphone to activate my ebay account, just the earphones, but I will be getting earphones with a mic just in case ebay/paypal need to speak to me.

Hello i made a sipgate account today. I tried calling my new landline and it was dead line. So i downloaded a program called X-Lite 4 which works perfect with sipgate. I installed it and programmed it with the servers and user names it tells you to use on the sipgate website. I then credited the account with 10 pounds. Then the account will be online. Now go to settings, Call forwarding. Click "New Rule" and you will see "When ringing, No answer" Box below this change to Immediately then forward to your mobile number or the number of your choice. Click save and call your "Landline" Number and it will call your mobile which is perfect! Any questions PM me and ill be glad to help you! Cheers
