Some questions about setting up a new account

Hi

I have changed business name, address, phone number, ip address and wiped my computer. Can i still use my full name that i had on an existing account or can i use a variation such as: Firstname Middlename Surname?

Thanks

sam130 02-02-2011 07:21 AM

If you want to be fully stealth your probably better off using a different now however you could still use a variation of your name its just down to preference really. What bank did you open an account with as this can affect the decision you take on this matter, as some banks such as Lloyds can be problematic when it comes to accepting incoming debits from the paypal account if its in a different name?

Hi

Im with Lloyds TSB. If i use another name and paypal ask me for photo ID, how do i get around this as obviously my driving licence and passport will show my correct name. Also, can i use a different bank account with the same sort code?

Thanks

Welcome to the forums :)

Lloyds TSB are funny about names. I know this because I have tried them myself in the past.

Yes same sort code with a different bank account number is fine, as I believe the sort code defines where the banking account is held at.

In regards to ID, it is possible to photoshop these documents. Basically if this happens you have two choice with 3 possible outcomes...

1. They ask for ID and you ignore = limited.
2. They ask for ID and you send fa ke documents and:
(a) They deny the documents = limited.
(b) They approve = reinstated account.

So I believe if ID props up, you might aswell take a gamble. If it doesnt go as planned, move onto the next account.

I hope this helps. Anymore questions fire away :thumb:

Hi

Thanks for your reply. Im really stuck as to what to do now as it is costing me £198 per 6 months to rent an address. If i get asked for ID and and it fails, then im back to square one and simply can't afford to keep forking out that kind of money everytime i get limited. Any suggestions?

Thanks

Have you read all around the forum or bought the stealth guide?
Your best option would be to open a new current account, i use Cooperative Bank...all you have to do is apply online, they send the documents within a few days AND they accept incoming debits from paypal in any name you like...well ive never had a problem..

Hi

Ive bought the stealth guide and had a look around the forum. Its the change of address and the cost involved that is bothering me. How did you go about it?

Thanks

Old PayPal Account

Hello!

I have question about PayPal account (limited for 180 days) right!

Now I can withdraw all funds but... This is account with NO my name, bank account is not added.

Can add any bank account to withdraw this funds? Or I must provide proof of name address and add only bank account with this same name like in PayPal register?

Any sugestion?

sam130 02-04-2011 04:01 AM

Dont open a bank in false details give your real name and address as this would be illegal if you gave them ⊗⊗⊗⊗ details. All you need to do is open a current account with a bank such as the cooperative or possibly Natwest that accept incoming direct debits even if the names dont match, so if your paypal name is completely different to your bank name (real name) this wont matter as they will still accept the incoming debit from paypal when you withdraw funds

I have current bank account in Lloyds TSB for my real name but I can withdraw money if Paypal register for John Smith and I add bank account to withdraw in my real name for example David Cooperfirld :) paypal accuse me of cheating? I have some problems of incompatibility of personal data? They may accuse me of money laundering?

sam130 02-04-2011 05:28 AM

For a start Lloyds TSB arent the best for accepting incoming debits from paypal especially in different names so I wouldnt use them in future if possible. If im right you can add any new bank account to withdraw funds after the 180 days...what do you mean their accusing you of cheating? paypal cant find out what name you've used on the bank account, it only matters that your bank accepts incoming paypal payments with stealth details....

Stigger 02-04-2011 11:46 AM

You do not add your name
you can add that account if it has not been used before on pp

Jemi85 02-04-2011 06:00 PM

I have an account with Lloyds, one of my paypal accounts has a business name but the funds are withdrawn into the personal account. Not had a problem so far, but did have to wait 4 days for the £5 next day transfer to go through on a fairly large amount last week - bit of twitchy bum moment :-/

Imakemoney 02-12-2011 04:37 PM

Lloyds can be troublesome, the best banks in the UK are probably Natwest or the Cooperative.

that usually happens with your first withdraw to lloyds after that things seem to spead up, i have never had a problem with lloyds either and i have used alsorts of names even womans

infact the only bank that i have had a problem with is halifax and they kicked 500 back the other week but then accepted 350 on the same account 2 days later
