Hi, in order to actually get your money out of paypal do you have to have a bank account set up? this is what im struggling with because Ideally I want to open more stealth accounts than is probably healthy for a person but it would be difficult to get unlimited uk bank accounts. What is the done thing in this instance.

Yes you have to get bank accounts linked to each Paypal account in order to get your money out of it if you plan on doing any sort of volume. And you'll need a bank account linked to the Paypal part to get verified otherwise your limits will be really small.

Thanks for that but whats the easiest way to get multiple bank accounts in the UK, does it all come to an end when you have exhausted your supply of bank accounts? :confused:

There should be a bank or few in England that let you create sub accounts, no?

TraderJUk, how many current accounts do you currently have open? as i have a fair few and can still open more with no problems atall...also have you got multiple with each bank, such as with the Cooperative I have 3

Go in all the banks that you don't have an account with and ask for their basic bank account. Tell them you are about to become unemployed and want an account you can have your giro paid into and have the abilty to setup direct debits etc without the ability to go overdrawn.

New government legislation means they have to supply you with an account, regardless of your credit history - unless you have a history of fraud on your credit file.

If they ask about your main account, tell them you will close it after you have paid off your overdraft or whatever, and are shopping elsewhere because their fees & customer service stinks!

Once you have exhausted that avenue then perhaps you could change your name by deed poll, and start the process all over again. :snicker:
