Paypal Limitation - credit card
 

Ok I got limited on my Paypal when withdrawing.

It is asking me for a card, my entropay account is under my real name though, and my PP account name is stealth.

Has anyone tried changing the name on their Entropay account before?, it says if you want to do that you need to email them.

Am I right assuming they don't check the name? I just used my Entropay card with different name - fail. :(

Im pretty sure entropay and pp will not share your details like your name. Ive used entropay many times now and its worked perfect for me so im not sure why its not working for you.

So to get the limit removed you just need to add a card? If entropay doesn't work and the account is a good one then only thing i would suggest is to get a new current account with debit card and use that debit card because pp and the banks will no share names then, so you should be fine. Hope you can solve it

No, Paypal check addresses. You cannot open a bank account with a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ address.

o no im not suggesting to open a bank account with Phake address or details! Thats never a option. But i have used "Real" debit cards which are my real details and used them to remove limits on stealth accounts. Its a like a free VCC. Works everytime for me and pp have never had a issue with my stealth details not matching my real debit card details.

Well the addresses don't match, so surprised they accepted it.

The purpose of them wanting me to add a card is the 'location check', so that is bound to fail.

Can anyone advise?

I used entropay just last night on paypal and I can confirm it works fine. Different address etc too.

Trust me Sasasasa all you need to do is add a vaild debit card, it does not matter what address it has. Then link and confirm it. They will charge the card £1 and it will also have a 4 digit code. You then type this code into paypal and the address will then appear as confirmed.

Trust me on this one its worked for me atleast 5 times now and never failed.

This is a slightly different case, they have limited me and want to verify my location, they have asked me for a card to do this, because they want to check the card postcode against my stealth postcode

Ok problem sorted, I had a similar situation before. You add your card and it says there has been a problem and it doesn't work. But if you go to your account and click on "profile" then "add card" you will then see there is something saying "link and confim card", you then click on that and it does the £1 transaction thing, then 2-3 days the PP code will show up on your statement.

The last time something similar happened the code actually showed up the same day.

Hopefully that's sorted now, and I won't throw myself in the river today after all :)
