Help Needed with new Ebay account

Hi
I really hope somone can help me with this as my bussiness is on hold. Basically my old ebay account was suspended, i have created a new account and downloaded 'Hide-My-IP'. i have installed this and upgraded to the premium service.

Now, whenever i log into my ebay account using any browser (also tried using a differnt computer with hide-my-ip on) i am instantly logged out, i cannot log in, its like i am bounced out of the log inserver instantly. i am sent back to the ebay home as if i never logged in. i called ebay and they couldnt help me at all.

Has anyone else experianced this problem and can help URGENTLY?!

Regards
Daniel

ebay does not like and detects ip hiding.

what exactly is wrong with your ip, is it static? if it is there are things you can do to change it, more than likely it is changing/dynamic, in which case it is not going to be repeating the same ip any time soon, exceptions for this are if only last digit or last 2 digits change, then the odds get higher of repeat. In any case a repeat IP once every 6 months isnt end of the world, I mean its a pool of IPs and users are first come first served.

There are numerous threads on IP, and a dedicated ip tracking section, so do a search on forum.

if nervous, just plug in a new PAYG mobile stick eg stick eg 3.

any checks on ip can be done by unplugging connection replugging and checking both times on ipburger

note that actually ip is the easiest and least worrying tracking and linkage issue for stealth mode to rectify, you need to get past it and preferably read the stealth guide, if your business depends on it, do not do anything rash before checking you are completely non-linked.

good luck

Whos your internet provider?

Stay away from using proxys/ip hiding tools as this will probably lead for them asking for your documents etc.

Have you thought about changing internet service provider or using dial up?

I use sky broadband and each time i reset my router I get a new IP.

Just unplug the router for 60 seconds, it should change fine then!

IP wont change if your provider supplies you with a static IP thought not even restarting.

if you have a mac try netshade which lets you use any iP

I have SKY internet too, but i've never been able to change my IP ;( How did you do yours?

Imakemoney 03-24-2011 11:46 AM

thats odd, all i do is turn my router on and off im presuming you've tried this?

I was led to belive all Sky internet services were dynamic therefore turning on and off for a few seconds should = new ip

Have you tried ringing sky and asking if you've got a dynamic or static IP?

I've got a Dynamic IP I can reset my router and I have a new IP address, I wouldn't use any programs like "hide my IP" because they're easily detected. I would recommend using a VPN/Proxie service widely available on the internet, there's a few 10 proxies for $20/£12 a month good value. Also you could use a VPN plus Http proxy together like a "proxy chain" gives you that added security, but did you purchase Ebay stealth? if not you should great value. Ebay Stealth tells you everything you need to know about obtaining a new IP address, and ways to go undetected on Ebay and Paypal saves you money and time and effort. I'd delete "Hide my IP" and purchase a VPN good luck!

or you could just use a dongle. 3 is the best for me

dont go for a proxy not a good idea, ebay doesnt like IP hiding software.

Your more likely to get asked to produce documents.
