if upgrade eb to a business account?!then...?
 

I'm using a stealth account selling on ebay uk,my eb account is not a uk account. today i tried to revise the item and ebay asked me whether im a private or business seller. obviously im not a private seller,but i dont have a business in real. i'm very worried if i should upgrade to business account. i searched around the forum that people said ebay will send a letter, what is this letter for? do they really send a letter to the registered address? what will happen if i dont get this letter? do i have to receive this letter and enter a pin or what? beside this, what else will ebay ask me to provide? should i upgrade then? or i wont be able to sell any more on ebay uk? please help me!!!

I don't know really much about Business Ebay accounts but I can confirm Ebay sometimes send you out a letter to confirm you are the owner of the account and also to check if the residence of the person who has registered is living there.

Instead of upgrading open a business account and slow the selling down on your so called personal account. they allow you to have both.

When setting up the business account make sure its at an address you can collect the letter. if one turns up but i doubt it will.

Ebay used to prompt you to upgrade/open a business account if you sell too much, im not sure if this still happens but it did

I assume you have reached the selling limit on this account?

If so then do like tiz woz says and slow down selling, then open another private account get selling and repeat.

i used a friend's address for this account, so if im able to get the letter. would it be better to upgrade to business account?

What's the problem with opening up other stealth accounts and building more reputable accounts?

ok, i see what you mean. can i just leave the active listing there cuz i set them as 30-day listing or i have to remove those?

yes just leave the active listing on this account, but when they end don't re-list so many or if you have multiples remove a few from each listing.


i would never recommending upgrading a personal account to business, i would just open one in its own right so it leaves your personal one in tact.
