Paypal limited, ebay not - need new ebay account?
 

I've got a top seller account which for obvious reasons I would like to keep using. Perfect feedback 4.9 stars for everything etc.

Paypal booted the account linked to it though but ebay never closed the account.

If i remove the link to the Paypal account, leave it a little while, change username and some of the details on the ebay account etc and link it to a new Paypal will it definately get flagged?

I'm pretty sure it will as surely it would be pretty easy to do for them, but just wondered if anybody had any experience of this.

Also wondering because I've been offered another top rated seller account but I'm guessing that ebayer has also been kicked from Paypal so would have the problem if I started selling on there.

Eventually, yes, they will come down if they have previously been linked to a banned eB ay or Pa yP al.

= FLAG FOREVER. Account is dead no matter how long you leave it. Either move on or expect ALL payments to be held in 180 days.

Personally wouldn't use the eBay account but they will eventually close it down

A sure thing is it will be shut down but when is anyones guess, The question you have to ask yourself is are you willing to wait 180 days for any funds that will be in the account when its eventually shot down.

My personal felling is i would use it, also set up another account that you would have needed to if you don't use this pp account anyway.

put the second account to work or save it for a rainy day, its your choice.
