eb ay verifiy identity
 

Hi,

I have recently created a new stealth account on ebay and whenever I go to list an item, eBay asks for my bank account number and sort code. Is this a new verification process for new accounts? This never used to happen on my old stealth accounts. If so I dunno what to do!

a verified paypal must be attached to ebay to sell, to verify you must attach bank.

yup, as others have said your paypal needs to be verified then u should be good to go!

danneh, you can sell up to 10 items per month on UK eBay without needing a verified PP. That is fact.

If you want to sell in a high risk catergory more than once, then eBay may also want you to verify with PP.

If your bank with PP is not accepting incoming direct debits then you are up s**t creek with no paddle and will have to just use that eBay and PP account for small-time business work.
