Student Accommodation - All Accounts Suspended
 

Hi, I am new to the forums, I find it amazing how many people are all in the same boat with eBay and PayPal.

I have around 2 personal accounts suspended, 2 personal accounts linked to them have now been suspeneded, 1 friends account suspeneded :doh: and am currently using my mums accounts :D

Obviously I never got these accounts suspended recently with all the things I know now, they got suspended 1 year ago and I have learnt lots in that year but can never get back on eBay using the normal ritual lol

My first question on the forums would be, if I was living at student halls when I first got my account suspended and my friend at the same address also got suspended for being linked.

Could he not now get that account reinstated because we no longer live at the same address etc?

No he cannot get his account reinstated. He'll have to create a new one, and don't ever sign into suspended accounts again

Student halls and public ips are a mess. You should try to avoid this like the plague.

Ooohhh I see, it does seem very odd though, how someone could sign into their eBay account in student halls, as a library user or at an internet cafe and their is a chance they could get suspended if they started listing items and someone at that address or using that i.p. ad has previously been suspended!

So this can happend to innocent eBay users then lol? So nobody has ever got an account reinstated by saying they 'I lived in student accom' or 'I was using a library computer' or 'I was at a friends house' etc etc

Amazing how the most innocent eBay user may never be able to create a seller account again especially because the majority will not be aware of the little tricks etc
