new current accounts
 

hi guys and girls just wanna say for people in the london area to go and open a current account with metro bank, it takes about 15 minutes and they give you your card and online banking there and then. I opened two current accounts no questions asked,and they have opened on ebay and paypal no problem so far www.metrobankonline.co.uk

also does anyone know what saving accounts will link with paypal and ebay etc??

Some of the guys in another thread mentioned cooperative savings accounts.

But for certain, I have NatWest savings account working with PayPal, so do a lot of other people on here.

is there a limit to how many current accounts you can open? i have 4 right now

Do you have them with the same bank, if so go to other banks and set up some more, it is easy enough and banks always welcome new customers.

Also are the 4 current accounts that you have all in use with PayPal? are any of them suspended PayPal accounts and therefore the current accounts are no longer used. If so you can close a current account, wait a bit (however long you feel) and re-open one at the same bank to get a new account number to reuse with PayPal!

yeah two are suspended accounts, im closing one next week and reopening the other is linked to all my direct debits and pay from work etc, so just gonna leave that one, no i have 2 with abbey and two with metro bank

Yeah cool, seems like you know what you are doing and are going about it the right way.

I think someone needs to come up with a list of savings accounts that have worked with PayPal in the UK!

does this metrobanks take ppl with bad credit history like me, not been bankrupt or any ccj .... tried santander got turned down so not sure where to try. also how do i use prepayment cards with stealth accounts im confused

they run a credit check on you.
