seems like...

phone verification do not work anymore to lift limits on paypal.UK account.

do not take my word for it, just try for yourselves aswell..

but for me 3rd try in the last few days, full cc and bank verified stealth accounts , when i try to lift the £1900 limits on them , it skips the phone verification( there is no more option to choose it or not) and jumps straight to fax/upload docs.

can anyone else confirm this.

It's a system glitch. This happened in December and lasted for nearly three weeks. Some people have success from continually beating the "confirm your address" link. It's hit and miss and they will sort it. It's just a ball-ache when you need the phone verification to lift the limits.

I can confirm this seems to be happening, will it last> who knows...

yeap happened to me too

And me.

Call them and ask what the problem is and they will lift limits there and then.

Perhaps it is random or perhaps something triggers it during the account making progress?

:noidea:

My understanding from speaking to respected forum members in the UK now is that phone verification and vcc are now not enough to lift the £1900 limit.

However I believe this is a lot of extra work for paypal - so my personal opinion is that it wont be a long-term thing (fingers crossed)

Lesson to learn - prepare stealth documents now before opening your paypal accounts if you intend on lifting the 1900 receiving limit.

Very good idea that I thought of myself as well, seems the most obvious and best way to operate from now on.

Did you do anything different with this account when setting it up compared to recent accounts that skipped ID verification.

I really hope this is not random and not here for good.

Yep this is now complusery for every paypal account so now its double the work to keep accounts going. IT HAS TO BE DONE.

They need to do more than this to keep me out of the game :peace:
