lifting limits
 

hello, have just opened my 2 steaith ebay and paypal accounts, i have them all veified no problem...i thought i would lift the limit on one of the accounts and it has asked me to fax or upload documents picture of passport, driving licence etc, also send a gas bill etc

if i dont send this and dont get limit lifted can i still just use account on the 1900 limit?? or now i have tried to lift limit do i still have to go through with it??

any help would be cool

Is the account now limited?

If so, you cannot use that account until you send in the documenst for verification.

Seems that PP is demanding documents a lot now, so unless you can provide them documents people, perhaps it is a good idea to leave the limit in place until you can.

OP.... you can use your pp as normal upto a receiving limit of 1900. Once you get to this limit, you will HAVE to send in docs.

Most of the time they ask for stuff even as early as 1200 so play it how you want.

Remember this is a yearly limit that gets reset every year... again play it how you see fit.

Its to do with some 'money laundering law' - which I find funny coz what kinda crappy crook does crime for a measly 1900! - a rubbish one!


Remember OP.... out of the money you receive, you have to pay eb fees, pp fees so you dont get the full 1900!.... so you know what to do XxX

Yes you can use account as normal

I have done this myself recently and me being me logged in and out a few times, clicked on loads of things... hit cancel sending docs a few times.....

.... basically, I 'hammered' it so if any flags would be raised, I would have raised them all - my paypal is still good upto 1900 limit.

^ I think yes. If you log into pp... if you see a 'veiw limits' text link on right topish side then you got some limits. If you click it, you can see what they are.

From my exp. I found if you dd verify and card verify, you will get 1900 limit. Then if you goto lift limits and follow their lovely procedures, you can get limits lifted.

Short/'ship' reply... bit knackered.

You should always check PP or EB for their policies so you can get up to date and accurate information.
