can i buy on ebay without a paypal?

hi i have a question i have an ebay and paypal account and my paypal has been permanently limited (will make another topic about that another time but for now...) i want to know can i still buy stuff on ebay with a credit/debit card as according to them i can:

Quote:

Q: How do I pay you if I don't have a PayPal account?

A: You can still pay me without having a PayPal account. If you don't have a PayPal account, you'll be automatically redirected to a secure page in eBay checkout where you can enter your credit card information. When you're done, you'll have the option of saving your credit card details with PayPal by creating a PayPal account.
Warning: PayPal Link.....

now the problem is when i go to buy something (add to basket etc) i keep getting taken to the normal ebay/paypal login page but i don't see any option to pay via credit/debit card like paypal's site says

also i'm in the uk if that makes a difference

thanks guys :yar:

You can purchase items on ebay with a credit, and or debit card, but you have to make sure the seller accepts them before you agree to purchase the items.

You can still get sellers get allow payment by cheque or Postal order, I'm one of them.

Sellers are required to accept Credit Cards, unless it's different in eB UK. When you use eB checkout, you should have the option to pay directly without logging into PP.

On the right, under Choose a way to pay, the 3rd option is "Don't have a PayPal account? Blah blah blah" Just make sure you're using a CC that's not attached to a PP account.

Paste the auction number into the eb ay.com search instead of .uk. Then go through the checkout process. Maybe .uk is not using express checkout yet.
