Have i linked my accounts??
 

sorry for bothering you all again- I think I am worrying too much but I am gonna ask anyway. I have a mobile 3g internet connection and discovered yesterday when trying to change the ip address that it changes automatically each time I log onto the internet. I am gonna have to check and record my ip address to make sure it doesnt repeat. In accordance with the guide I have created a new user account on my computer. I today have just created new stealth eb and pp accounts under this user. after doing this i switched users to the user I normally use for my old accounts- The cookies had been cleared on this account and I did NOT log into my old pp or eb account. out of curiousity i checked the ip address and it was the same as the ip address of the other user account i had just created the stealth accounts on!!!!!!-panic. I now now that my ip does not change automatically when i switch users, and I will have to log off completely then back on before the ip address will change. I have a feeling that I have not linked my stealth account to my old account by ip address as luckily i did not log into my old eb or pp account- am I right????

One time IP use is unlikely to link. And also, I would not panic too much about IP stuff - it's good to be completely fresh so just do your best to push for new IP from now.

Are you sure your IP is dynamic? Turn off your modem, wait a bit and check.

Oh it is dynamic- since last night i been logging on and off the internet and checking my ip- different every single time except when I switch user. I suppose it is good in one respect as I dont need to manually change it- but I still will have to check each time before I log into eb or pp in case it repeats from a previous time. thanks for reply- hopefully it should be ok.

Make a few more backup accounts to age =)

Don't worry I had an issue like this a few days ago, where my Mum signed up using our suspended home address with the same I.P address I was using - she's been suspended but my account is still going strong as everything else is different, name, address, user account, cookies, phone number, etc

Just don't do it again and I'm 100% sure you will be fine. :-)

From my experience your fine as long as its a one off - it takes more than IP to form a solid link anyway.

Just try to keep track of all you IP's in future :juggle:
