Had to refomat hard drive - lost cookies for paypal and Ebay?

I'm a firm believer that paypal are very suspicious of a/c's that constantly have their cookies and flash cookies deleted.

I alway create a new windows user account when opening a new paypal /Ebay and never delete the cookies.

Major problem occured today. My motherboard died and I'm going to have to reformat the hard drive and reinstall windows. Thus losing all of my user accounts.

I have saved all of the individual user account documents. But, does anyone know if it's possible to just set up a new user with the same name as before on my reformatted hard drive and just copy the documents across? will this put the original cookies back into internet explorer?

Thanks

Do you still have the original cookies? I doubt so....
All you have to do now, is to keep the cookies separate, as you used to...
Do you constantly delete the cookies?
If this is the first time in a long while, i don't think you should have any problems with them at all.
There might be a problem with the IP's... If you are able to log in with the same IP assigned to each user you should be fine.... Tho....this is a delicate matter.
We shall wait for an answer from someone who has come across this problem before.

never come across this exact problem before but i have had to use reinstall windows before and it did not affect me,

i dont think you will have a problem, just open all the windows user accounts again and carry on as normal

no, do not worry about cookie loss, people have a clear out once in a while, if you think they are watching you that close then its suspicious that you wouldnt clean up a computer anyhow to stop it running slow, in any case you are not being watched that close, I have 2 scenarios one is that I have so many accounts that I have some minor accounts that share a user and I clean in between, they are not used much and are not flagged for this, secondly I have moved accounts before when I need to put some of them on a new laptop, no flag there either. All you need to do is not sell the first time you use without cookies, browse or buy, leave it and then you are good, youve got cookes and you are not flagged as you didnt sell anything.

Many PayPal issues are in fact solved when cookies are cleared. They are aware of this and often offer it up as a common solution.

As long as you have the ebay secret? you should be good, all they do is ask for the secret? and send a pin to your email, that's only if you try to sell something, I do it all the time as long as you don't sell anything right away, like oompa said you won't even need to do that.
