am i ok to buy on my ebay account?
 

got a new ebay account and paypal,

address is different to where i live of course, slightly changed.

Am i ok to buy something on ebay and pay with paypal then message the seller with the correct address?

Yeah - best thing to do is send the seller a message and ask if they can deliver to a different address.

You could tell them you want it delivering to that different address because its a gift or something a long those lines.

I would never mentioned suspended details in eBay messages though. Though it depends whether you can 'take the risk', as I am sure they will not screen every message!

To fall within PayPal guidelines do you think a reputable eBay seller will deliver to an unconfirmed address?, my guess would be depending on the face value of the item some will some won't. So I wouldn't hold my breath on getting an eBay seller that will send to an alternative address, without thoroughly confirming that the buyer in question lives there. I've bought a few "PS3" games off eBay and sent them to a non confirmed PayPal address all fine, if you was buying a high risk value item then I don't think anyone apart from unscrupulous newbie sellers. Who would take a chance on the outcome because they wouldn't be covered by PayPal, because they sent the item to an unconfirmed address.

Ive found that many reputable sellers are willing to deliver to an unconfirmed address - Ive done it many times.

Just make sure you PM them first explaining how it is a gift for something along those lines.

However the more pricey the item the less inclined they may be to sell it to a different address.
