Different name bank accounts on paypal??allowed??

Hi all
i have a problem i have money stuck in paypal because the bank account in a different name is asking for id which cannot be provided so i want to know if i can add a different bank account name to the account so i can draw the money, will this create problems ??

yes you can.

paypal cant see the name on your bank account all they see is the account number and sort code.

what about the bank though does paypal do the deposits process again to confirm the bank like they do at the beginning? and if i add the account name as it is and its a lot different what about the bank ? will that create problems

you need to confirm the 2 deposits to verify the paypal yes.

doesnt matter that the names dont match as i previously said.

the only time it can create problems is with certain banks such as Lloyds, but most are fine.
