UK Please place a reimbursement payment method on file??
 

So on one of my stealth accounts I asked them to lift a '10 item limit' on e bay, which they did, i now have 50 a month limit, when i went to list an item it says:

"Please place a reimbursement payment method on file
We're glad that you're selling on eBay. To continue listing, you must have a payment method (credit card, or PayPal account) on file with us to pay amounts you owe under the eBay Buyer Protection Policy (referred to here as "Reimbursement Payment Method"). In most cases, it's the same payment method that you use to pay your eBay seller fees.

The eBay Buyer Protection Policy ("Policy") helps buyers if they have a problem with a purchase. If a seller does not resolve the buyer's problem and the Policy applies, eBay will arrange a refund for the buyer (the amount of the refund is determined in accordance with the Policy). In cases where eBay directly refunds the buyer, a Reimbursement Payment Method allows eBay to charge your payment method for the amount refunded.

You, in the capacity of a seller, authorise us to collect variable amounts (representing the refund eBay paid to the buyer) from the payment method you select on the next page. By selecting a payment method on the next page, you acknowledge and agree that your authorisation will be made on an automatic basis and on various dates as and when refunds are made to buyers under the Policy".

I was fully verified with all limits lifted using my bank account and a vcc when i opended the account. Do i now need to put in a vcc to this reinbursement section? i tried to put in my bank account credit card and had no luck.
I though the reinmbrsement method was through your bank account.

I see another person had probs but noone gave and solutions.

I had this issue and I just linked my PayPal account.

My account is linked :-/
Is it because the vc has expired maybe?

Its a formal agreement with eBay to allow them to take money from your pp acc automatically when a resolution case closes and the buyer gets a refund.

I used my pp acc because i only accept pp as payment.

I put a vcc in and it worked!!!
Wierd, they wont be getting any money out of that vcc, although i always pay my balance thru paypal.

I had this message when I tried to list one day recently. I contacted the chat system and they just said I could use the same card I pay my fees currently with and it would be fine. I entered it and went on to list more.

It was just a walmart greendot that I load monthly.
