How To Grab Customers Email Address from PPal Account

Does anyone know if its possible to grab all the email addresses from everyone who has ever sent payment to a paypal account?

i really dont wana have to go thru each payment and copy/paste the email address...wonder if theres an easier/quicker way?

Sure. Go to "View All My Transactions" and select the time period you want. Then click Download CSV in the top right under currencies. This will open in excel and have all the "From" email address' as well as other information.

Dang... not working for me in the USA

i noticed that with some accounts all the info is missing in the download you only get the basics and never noticed an option to add to what it downloads.

I think there is a way to get them with an email search tool but not tried it. I think it is an add on of outlook.

LOL no problem. I remember stumbling across it one time and thinking hmm this may come in handy.

cortex 08-01-2011 01:02 PM

yeh its handy...i tried to go far back as nov 2010 but it only gave me the last 168 transactions

TheGenius 08-01-2011 01:10 PM

Maybe try getting the last 168 transactions. Then set it to jan 2010 - nov 2010 and keep doing that. Might work.

cortex 08-01-2011 06:39 PM

yeh tried that one bro but no joy - thanks for the heads up though ;-)

'Course a nice user might hit the THANKS button now.

Stop being a taker and show your appreciation. That response was most helpful:juggle:

cortex 08-02-2011 04:19 AM

^ How am I being a "taker"? I already showed my appreciation by saying " thanks buddy *hope i can return the favor one day* "

Surely writing a personal message to a forum member is more sincere than clicking a button.

I think TheGenius sees my appreciation and is happy with that - unless I'm mistaken?

GreenBean 08-02-2011 04:50 AM

And in a hundred posts from now, who will see YOUR appreciation when this thread has passed?
To each their own.

I noticed one thing back when it used to work for all accounts so they may have changed something. But if you go a day past the first payment then it just seems to do nothing. A bit like their customer service people when you ask them something that is not on their monitor.

Try working out your first payment date from your emails or seeing what happens if you go a month after it.

Does anyone actually care about the "thanks" button?

Yeh thats a good tip - i tried it one of my other accounts.

Was much simpler on another account i just used - had over 1000+ emails to grab from 1 days sales! ;-)

rsot 08-02-2011 10:19 AM

...GB, you're going hard on using the thanks button on the kid ha - wow but hugglez nonetheless.
