lifting paypal limits
 

hi, i have a stealth ebay and pp account with my real name but different address and i want to lift the 1900 limit on my paypal account but obviously if they ask for documents i cant provide them with the address as its not mine. the account is only a couple of days old.

Any Suggestions

In that situation it will not allow you to lift the £1900 limit. The online check will not be able to verify your details if they are not 100% correct. If you were to try this check twice on there and it will fail, they then want you to upload documents.

Done this many times. The PP system is so sh*t that even when you have all the green ticks complated, and I mean all, including the online check, it still will say "more information required". That totally makes no sense and I have heard the only way to get this limit lifted is by ringing them (not advised), emailing them (waste of time) or letting the account go past the £1650 receiving limit and then see what happens.

The other way you can run it is by not accepting more than £1650, once your bank verified and use the account just for that much. :pop2:

My bank is verified and my cc is entropay. i might have to open multiple accounts and spread the money in all of them. what about being creative with the I.D

Entropay is dead to us in the US. Aren't they having more and more having issues with entropay/paypal in other countries as well?

Would it be wise to suggest that the OP add another CC and remove entropay?

if you chose random addresses there is no way to lift limits other than submit the ID

what if the address used is where a friend lives as i have done in my case

Any utility bill your friend has will have his name on it - not yours.

i would 'make' an address proof and an 'id' proof... you can hide the passport or the license id as they don't require that.. It has worked for me so far...

do you mean hide the passport number or driving licence number

As long as you can provide sufficient real looking I.D then there's no problem, it becomes a problem when you make it a problem. I.e do some research on the forum or the net and all the answers are there! :)

Sorry to hijack but I'm trying to lift limits at the moment and sent in some docs last week.

This is what they said:

information. As we cannot lift the EU-Receiving Limit on your PayPal
account until all requirements have been met, we would appreciate your help
with completing the steps below, so that we can review your account further.

If you have no other form of ID we can accept a birth certificate instead.
This must be supported by a government issued supporting document with your
name and address.

Government issued documents include:
• Letter from social welfare
• Social welfare card
• Tax authority letter
• Tax demand letter
• Drug payment scheme card

What the hell do I do now? I've already submitted a birth cert but they need one of docs from the list above. I've already emailed them back twice saying I don't have any of those, but get the same canned reply.

I recently send in a creative passport copy and blocked the passport no. They refused it and asked for the passport number to be shown. Strange eh?
