Problems with info on limited paypal account
 

looking at buying some documents to send into pay pal but i'm unsure of the date of birth on the account.

Is there a way to find out while the account is limited?

and do we think if the documents sent in dont match the dob on the account it will be closed?

You can find the DOB in Paypal but I'm not sure about Ebay

If you submit docs with unmatching info, it's going to be a problem. paypal will think bad thoughts ( and rightly so).

You should know all your details of accounts to prevent these problems.
Think carefully about what you do.

you can find the dob info on the profile or account section in pp

what about on eBay? Can you check it?

That info gets encrypted. NOT easily retrievable

Think about it, it would be an easy breach of security to have the DOB available :juggle:

You could go for it with a random dob on the docs and just hope it's an idiot that checks them (a high probability when it comes to pp).

I've checked through some posts and this has been done successfully before but it is always going to be a risk.

If you go profile then view old profile summary

Then Personal/Business Information

its on that page under account holder name

seems its something they have removed from the new look profile page handy there is a back door to get it :-P

Move on. You MUST log ALL your information in writing to keep track of it. Always have it handy when speaking with PP or Ebay on the phone. You never know what they might ask you. When you set up a new account, make sure you do NOT use ANY of the previous info or you will be linked right away! :pop2:

This almost happened to me. They told me to send in documents and I couldn't remember what I had on the account. I finally found it written down, after I scoured the Ebay site looking for it. That was when I was very naive...the account was already toast (very burnt I must add!). I've learned A LOT through experience. I still have a lot to learn! But Paypal are real idiots when it comes to ⊗⊗⊗⊗ documents. Anything will get by that bunch

searching one of my firt stealth accounts i realised why i counldnt find dob. its not a biz ac. lookin at basic info on pc when i created it i found dob and its no where real dob for the stelth. i think ill put this down now to self trainin and move on.
