Hello

If the post code is different from your Pypl registered address it will induce ID Request as it/you will not pass the confirm information in pypl if you have not already passed it, it is not illegal for you to have an account at another address but it will raise a Flag with pypl

Sorry to go against the grain, but i know this for sure.

saying that there is properly something else on your account that has already had that effect.

Alps_a somewhatlegend 08-20-2011 06:52 PM

^ I totally disagree as I am sure all others will.

For example, when I input my bank details in pp, it says from the sort code the bank is in a totally different area as that is where the banks sort code is registered.... even though the bank I opened is 2 minutes from my house.

I am saying as an experienced member who plays and plays and plays xXx

many other reasons but I am not putting out on open forum

Imakemoney 08-20-2011 07:10 PM

Alps is correct...it doest matter.

Sorry NightStalker your wrong :juggle:

Bank postcode has nothing what so ever to do with the post code in your Paypal account. If you have a Halifax account that has been opened on line your branch is Leeds no matter where you live.

Your info is correct. But that is not the topic & has only caused confusion.
The OP was talking about his banking arrangements. Did you get that or misunderstand?
Re-read the thread to work out the topic.:pop2:

i think i did slightly, although the sort code will not cause a problem is he will be asked for ID at the 1900 limit if he adds that bank because of the postcode tied to the account so i was just making him aware of that.

to me thats a problem that i think he would have liked to know even though its not to do with the sort code it is kind of relevant.
