Ebay help needed
 

I am selling freeware software on ebay which is GNU and freely available to public, someone notified ebay that i am selling ther copywrite software, they used a major software company name and used an email that is not even relavent to the major company.

how can i sort this out?

that person keeps notifiying ebay using major company names and ⊗⊗⊗⊗ emails and ebay removed my listing and restricted my account for 7 days

what should i do in this situation?

should i contact ebay or will this make it worse?

Here is what could possibly going on:

-Your are violating some type of rule(s)
-The person reporting you is your competition and/or they are a vero registered member.

So if you have multiple violations, I cant imagine you have many more strike left. I would leave this account and start a new stealth, and definitely NOT sell whatever you are selling.

I think you can do nothing about it, since GNU software is really not allowed to be sold on eBay.
You have got only 7 days suspension - wait and then just be more careful.
Also know that after the first suspension they keep an eye on you so don't sell this software any more or they will suspend you forever.

the name of the software is not even mention and someone reported to ebay making false statement using major software company name, i got ebay message, they mentioned name of the major software company and the email of the company who did not even have the name of the major company name

for example microsoft

but the email who i have to contact or reply to was totaly different and no relavence to microsoft

could it be that my competitor just made up some company name and false email just to reprt me to Ebay?

Its not just a competitor. From what I understand when you sign up as a VERO member you get either a password or a PIN number to prove you are who is listed on the VERO account with ebay.

I may be wrong but makes sense or this would be a huge problem

the name of the vero is not even displayed in the title listing or the description and still ebay removed it, anything i can do?

some competitor is using vero company name to make false reporting to ebay

also, the item number mentioned ( removed listing item) does not even exist, no such item number, i have checked with all my previous and present listings
