Using new bank account with old eBay
 

Hi,
I would like to enquire about using my old eBay account (Paypal banned) and purchasing goods via eBay checkout and pay as GUEST - no paypal account holders. I can fill credit/debit details using a new bank account that is not linked in anyway.

Please advise if you think this would work 100% or not as I do not want my old eBay account banned because I sell items cash on collection and seem to do alright apart from buying goods :mad2:

you just need a card to buy with ebay, not bank, yes that could work, being linked to a banned paypal will not affect your buying, they only flag you if you sell generally.....

why dont you have 2 eb, 1 for buying and 1 for selling....

so you want to sell COC on that same ebay....probably ok, as no risk to you in terms of paypal monies being held, if they hit you with suspension then so what - start another one, you should be ok though, COC is something ebay do not get too involved on........

Do you think I should remove paypal link in my old eBay account or will they get suspicious?

Your eBay account is linked with your PayPal account: r...4@gmail.com Remove link with PayPal account. (Removing this link will make it more difficult to buy items from sellers who require confirmed PayPal accounts).

And out of curiosity what if I add a new PayPal account and link it up? :shocked:

I had 2 eBay accounts before. one was banned alongside with Paypal account. Fortunately, with the other eBay account I have 1300 Feedback and my customers trust me with dealing direct bank transfer for items valued at £400 average.

Being a guest on your own ebay account might flag the transaction. :pop2:

Messy way to operate and could well damage the working account.
