Hi all i was just wondering if i can use my real address but a variation of it like the name. ie 24 good street could i use 24a good street that way the postman still puts stuff through my door as there is no 24a just 24 and he will also see the name is sort of the same as mine ;)

It's not the postman that you should worry about for the address variation.

It's ebay/paypal that is of more concern.

Usual story? Banned, still living at banned address and am hoping this variation is the quick fix? :spy:

What's the basis of the question?

I have just had 3 accounts suspended

my GF ( she is pissed with me )
my sis (shes ok)
and mine

now mine i was had over by someone for over £200 in june so i sold and sent it to a - balance

now i know that was sort of daft but i got my money back and put me back in front ( well sort of )

so when i came to getting rid of the rest of my stuff i used my GF account all went well till this weekend

I took over £500 in 1 day with 3 auctions and now we all have been limited

One of the steps for my gf and sis account is "resolve issues with other linked accounts" ie my £240 minus

i have just sold all these items and they going to be picked up from the courier ( booked and paid ) today but slowly the "helds" are coming in

I have withdrawn all the money and i think it will go through as i did it when they sold but my GF dont want a - balance.

bottom line is its a mess, so long as the money goes in today i can carry on with shipment (well when courier arrives ) and then address the account problems. All she is bothered about is a negative balance

The reason i ask my OP is if i have to relist my items due to "reversal" of the bank withdrawals then i need a new account hence the OP lol

The problems of using relatives and friends info - you can do stealth much better than that. Welcome to the forums.

that variation is too close to your real address.

and my guess is you've not even begun to think about changing your IP or cookie linking so it would be linked back to your old account anyway

ok start a couple more back-up accs - everything must be different from banned details,

resolve issues on suspended ones, its a long-shot but you might be able to get them back, what has been requested from you, or have you been told the suspension is permanent? Is supension due to neg balance (can be resolved) or another reason?
