Buying thing stealths
 

Im thinking about buying on stealth address,

the stealth account is in different address and no access.


what can i do about shipping which way round this please???

NONE, simple sellers will change the add and then ebay sees it and links you..
alternative.. use a friends/relative's add and get access to it and make an account like that (alot easier)

or just use an address that "clean" with ebay and paypal.. again a friend or relative...
with that said..
you dont want to use the same address with 2 stealth accounts.. everything separate.. good tool is excel to keep track of everything

Just add a clean address into ebay for your delivery and returns address.

Can you not just have a non-stealth account using your real details and address for buying?

Set up a legitimate non-stealth PayPal to go with it too.

Even when I've gone a bit crazy and bought a load of things I couldn't afford and had my account suspended through too many unpaid items, I've still been able to set up yet another account on the same details and a PayPal with a new card ('loose' your card and get sent a new one with new number) and buy freely (with self-control).

Actually I set up the new account BEFORE I was suspended because I could see it coming. Not against their terms to have more than one account but they claim it is if you open one specifically to avoid the suspension, so perhaps do it first or make several non-stealth accounts only for buying and spread out your unpaid items..

Hey, make the feedback private too and that gives confidence you're not going to sell anything.

One thing I have done is slightly change my details by shortening my first name and writing my address slightly differently but still understandable by a postie..

I also changed my IP from any suspended buying account too.

Don't know if either of those were necessary but I've had no probs..

The way I see it is the more bidders there are, the higher the prices, the more they collect in fees - Ebay don't care if you're never going to pay as long as you don't actually win 'cos you'll be pushing up prices...

I am just paying for purchases by cheque and popping a little note inside stating your home delivery address. Of course this will be no good if you are in a rush for that item though.

low value purchases, if you request it, the seller will sometimes send it anywhere, particularly if you choose not to pay with paypal. You just enquire before you buy, say it is a gift for someone.

for buying, a variation of your banned address will get packages to you eg instead of 22, have 22a and different surname. As long as you do not sell on the account, nobody will look closely at the address.

with paypal if they let you do this, there is a danger they will add the address you gave them on to the delivery details at their end......

i would get the sellers email address or phone number and contact and ask them to send to my address

i would ask them to not print postage or input the address on eb ay or pay pal because it is an address where someone was banned before and they will ban my account if they see my real address, or some similar story

i had a buyer this week ask me to send to another address, which i do not mind as it is not an expensive item

as long as you are not buying an iphone or something really expensive they should do it

if not,never mind, just hope they are not tell tales
