Default two laptops one from the past one in the future

I have a question that although i'm sure is right just want confirmation really.

i have a new laptop which i am running multi accounts from using different user accounts for cookie issues.. i also ensure that my ip gets switched when i change over from one to the other.. but my other laptop which i use for everything else i.e. facebook, bit of share dealing and all the other stuff that i have always done before my suspension from ebay.. my question is..

-if im logged into my new ebay on my new laptop but im also using my old laptop for things that are totally un-related to ebay at the same time is there any way ebay could pick up on this? or can ebay only monitor a laptops history when that laptop has logged into an ebay account enabling it to put cookies on the laptop?.. (so can i use my old laptop for facebook etc making sure im browsing privately with no flash or normal cookies without ebay getting wind of it and linking me with my new ebay laptop?).

this also makes me ask the question.. can i open ebay emails from my od laptop or is that a definitive link?

your thoughts would be much appreciated.

thanks

They are not tracking you to see if you log into the same facebook page. The LSO cookies are used for tracking, but always delete them after every browsing session. I keep my normal cookies and change everything else. Clicking old emails is fine although don't click links and log in. As a precaution I have gmail set to never display external content.

ha ha thanks that's really good to know.. just to clarify are LSO cookies flash cookies?

I don't think i will have an issue with flash or normal as i use Mozilla on my non-related eb ay laptop using 'private browsing' anyway.. and always delete the flash cookies before going on again anyway. I just wanted to use other things on my non related laptop whilst still using eb ay on my stealth laptop that's all.

i suppose i just got worried in my naive way that if you are logged into eb ay on a ip address they can monitor to an extent everything that happens on that ip during eb ay log in time.. (good to know they are not entirely big brother then i guess!)

thanks

If you don't know about it already, install the betterprivacy addon for firefox. It can delete the LSO/ flash cookies automatically when you close your browser. Your PC will probably run faster once you delete them.
