Is it possible to give them a call to lift selling limit if you have only 10 feedback

I have 1 account which is 1 year old and 10 feedback from previous month. There is a link when I list something to click just if you want to lift selling limit. But when I click in, it will provide you the pin to give them a call to discuss your business plan.

I just want to know if it's possible to give them a call and ask to increase limit of 100 items per month to be 300 items per month? I have only 10 feedback right now. or with this low feedback, they will definitely increase the limit for me?

For more information: This account was recently put the restriction on. But I sent documents to verify and the restriction has been removed.

If you have the docs in I would think your chances are better BUT how recent was the restriction? and WHY? e.g. problem with sales? What are you selling? etc.

I had a big account get hit with restriction then I followed up and I got toasted...

Keep your head down for a couple of months then try

I opened an account 3 weeks ago, sold 17 items, had 5 pos feedbacks, phoned yesterday and lifted from 100 to 250.... unusual or what?,

one other thing a lot of people seem to be missing , and that is why PP and Eb are getting tougher is because on the 14th of July 2011, The European Court of Justice has passed law that ebay are now accountable for any Counterfeit Goods sold on their websites, this means in laymans terms they can now be prosecuted.

I had not heard that ruling, but if true then eBay might aswell close business, as 95% of the stuff sold on there could be regarded as dodgy...

Hmmm - 95% - that makes what I sell pretty unique then?

Maybe 5% - 10% is a more realistic answer and they are going to chase them down so that they can be seen to be doing something about it.

If the comment about the European court is correct then I think as soon as a FooFoo seller gets a neg with a counterfeit claim in it that account will be under severe pressure.

There will always be FooFoo on Ebay but I do not believe it is a sustainable business. The noose is getting tighter every week

Yep here is the article

BBC News - eBay 'may be liable' for sale of ⊗⊗⊗⊗ goods, court says

My advice from reading the link from Bunneh is:

Stay the F away from L'Oreal - :D

GT - 5% - 10% is crazy low, more like over 90% dodgy. If you have a look around, you will see. Also, things which you think are ok are simply just not ok. It don't bother me, but that is the way things have to be. Just saying... :pop2:

gave them a call. The indian guy only gives me £250 more of allowance...lol.. and told me that I just sent the document in last month because I got restriction. so they need to see my selling performance for 2 more month. after that they can increase it for me. Better than nothing though :)

maprod 10-05-2011 10:00 AM

gave them another call for another account. This time another guy asked me to send email with ID and invoice attached. So I sent him straight away and he is checking live on phone. And he lifted it for me from 100 items per month to 300 items straight away....god I should ask for more at first...lol..but that's enough for me really coz I have so many stealth accounts to work with. Anyway, this account has 0 feedback! and just opened 1 month ago ;)
