Bummer, try a vcc. |
try this, don't know if t will work or you have already done it
go to account on eb ay
go to choose automatic payment
then you have an option to use pay pp,debit or credit card...choose pay pal
see if that works, this will set up payments of fees by pay pal, not the best idea but as long as you keep on top things it`s convenient |
| ebayhater86 | 10-02-2011 04:58 PM | anyway around this, has anyone else ever had this problem? |

Add a vcc . |
| ebayhater86 | 10-02-2011 05:03 PM | yea think im going to have to do that, Its paypals AVS system :( |
you should try what i said first
you got a verified pay pal account |
| ebayhater86 | 10-02-2011 05:07 PM | |
| ebayhater86 | 10-02-2011 05:08 PM | if all else fails can i get a vcc from you? |
yeah i got eb ay or pay pal vcc`s,good prices
short or long expiry
you could have the long expiry in 5 minutes
pm me if you need one |
honestly could not comment on ukash
but you could try and report back:) |
| oompaloompa | 10-03-2011 03:11 AM | you need a vcc if the card would not pass avs, a real bank card will only work if at the very least the postcode matches card. |
| GREEN LION | 10-03-2011 06:04 AM | same thing happen to me for a nationwide bank account.but the message was telling me we can't accept the card details please contact your bank.
i just waited untill paypal send the 2 small depo to my bank account, and then tryed again it's all fine now. |
| ebayhater86 | 10-03-2011 10:18 AM | can you pay fees just with your bank account added? once verified? |
| Stigger | 10-03-2011 10:29 AM | Do you mean add fund to your PP from your bnk account to pay your Eby fee's ?
If so the answer is no . |
| ebayhater86 | 10-04-2011 07:20 AM | i mean set-up so fees are paid via bank account. |
| GrannyT | 10-04-2011 07:28 AM | I know this goes against the grain for a lot of forum members but this is what I do
Verify the Paypal account.
In Ebay link your Paypal account to the stealth Ebay account and use the Paypal account to pay Ebay fees.
Job done |
| eBay King | 10-04-2011 07:31 AM | It's OK GT, I pay eBay fees a lot of the time with PP that way too.
It is quicker and safer (if you know what you are doing) that way and shows PP that you are a "good person" by using PP for sending money, rather than just receiving and withdrawing money. |
| ebayhater86 | 10-04-2011 07:45 AM | Can i solely pay ebay fees with a verifed paypal account that has my bank details?
thanks |
| GrannyT | 10-04-2011 07:58 AM | Yes
:pop2: |
| ebayhater86 | 10-04-2011 07:59 AM | oh i never knew that :) |
| ebayhater86 | 10-04-2011 08:01 AM | i thought u needed to add a debit/credit card to pay fees,
I will have the 2 deposits sent to my bank tomorrow, added card on sunday
:) |
| GrannyT | 10-04-2011 08:12 AM | You still need to add a card to your Ebay account I believe - not certain though - I always use the same card for PP and EB |

Job done | Just be aware that if your paypal account does not have enough funds to pay your fee's, then they will hit your bank for the rest and rumble you but as long as your on top of your game then there shouldn't be a problem. |

Job done | And give paypal reason to 'touch' your monies even more.
Job UNDONE.
by that I mean one error, lack of funds and your bank account gets hit.
Control the money personally. Never allow paypal extra power.:juggle: |
| Bunneh | 10-04-2011 08:39 AM | @Ebayhater86
My one paypal account i used for over a year also required a card like you did and a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ address wouldnt work, so I tried a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ address with my postcode and it went through... |

Was the address on PP ⊗⊗⊗⊗ with real postcode ? |
| GrannyT | 10-04-2011 08:43 AM | The problem is GB in the UK now if you don't link your PP and EB you are stuck on a 10 item limit.
As TizWoz rightly points out you need to be on top of your game
Having said that I think with all stealth activities we need to be on top of our game.
If they are going to insist we link then at least make it work for us. We do not have to leave money in the bank account and I cannot imagine many people do.
As I said in my first post "I know this goes against the grain for a lot of forum members but this is what I do"
For me it works and I stand by it (for me anyway) |
| GreenBean | 10-04-2011 08:49 AM | My ebay/paypal accounts are always linked.
I excluded giving paypal the right to touch my bank account regarding fees in 2007. paypal pocketed £2700 of my money.
Hell will freeze over etc etc etc.
Been a successfully working practice of mine and I stand by that.
No dramas, so dont hint I'm not on my game :boink: |
| GrannyT | 10-04-2011 08:52 AM | Then I'm not sure what you are saying - your situation is exactly the same as mine - isn't it?
Your accounts are linked therefore they have access to your bank account.
Or am I misunderstanding something here? |

| Stigger | 10-04-2011 08:58 AM | Confused :D
I have a few accounts the i have linked but i use the one time payment method to put my eby account in positive balance before i sell, then when my monthly is due i use one time payment method again and pay up with PP before they ever try and hit the pp account, its not like you don't get plenty of notice so in the unlikely event you do not have funds in pp at least you have a week to get a vcc and pay them |

A big NO mate, if you do that you shoot yourself in the foot big time and say goodbye to your accounts. |
