new paypal stealth account looking id
 

Hi All

Just set up a new paypal account and in the process of lifting my limits, Paypal are asking for proof of id and a valid utility bill. I can not provide this as i have already been suspended and ebay will probably have my details.

Can anyone give me a few ideas of the best way to get round this? Any help would be much appreciated

What would they accept if you didnt have a passport or a DL?

The problem you have is they want to be sure you are who you say you are - that's a legacy of the scammers and foo-foo merchants. If they can see you electronically they can be a little bit more flexible.

Try and see it from their position - you are not on any electronic verification, you don't have a DL and you don't have a Passport. If you were Paypal would you want to deal with you? Or would you say this character is far to risky - let's walk away from this one.

I've had this same problem many times, instead of giving them the details I just leave it for 180 days then I withdraw

Sometimes birth cert but you have to ask first.
