Paypal Account Suspended 180days have past but Bank Account has expired on Account
 

Hi Guys ive just had an email from PayPal stating that i can now remove my funds from my limited PayPal Account but still cannot recieve send etc money can only withdraw my funds.
but what has happened is that the bank account which was attached to the PayPal Account has expired and i have around £600 in their.

i have tried to add another bank account to the paypal account to withdraw the funds to but it says PayPal are unable to verify your details as its a stealth account and the information which is on the paypal account doesnt match the details on my bank account.

is their any other way of adding a bank account which can recevie any payments in any name or another way of withdrawing the money from the account any help would be great thanks guys

Sorry, did you add the bnk account in your real name or use your stealth name ?

You should just be able to add another account and withdraw, never had aproblem doing that.

When going to add bank account it just states add sort code and account number nowhere to add name

have you tried going to the withdraw option and then adding bank account there.

If you can add name it should be the name on your pp account.

Was the last name stealth/veriation ?

i went to the withdraw option and it wont allow me to add any name it just asks for sort code and account number the name on the paypal account is stealth not variation and the bank account is in my real name

If you have used a different one to your real, thats going to be a problem.

Mismatch isnt a big issue or we would hear more bank name kick-offs on forum........what future holds is another matter, the 'avs' banking theory we heard from one forumer once, with a 'sister' in banking is not enough evidence.......in the end we found out from him that the only hard evidence was the small withdrawal test if they were suspicious of name that he was talking about and we all knew about this occasional event anyway..the rest was just theory about what might happen in future...right now most banks are ok with name apart from Lloyds, and thats fact, tried and tested, so no point worrying OP...

and OP has no choice but to try and add, or lose the £600.....

The miss match is at the PP nothing to do with bank miss match.

Once the account has a 180 day limitation, you can only withdraw the funds. Accounts is not usable in any other way. Did you not know that?

This message about the name: is it the one on the page that say if the name does not match etc etc nothing will work?

Have you tried to add the sort code and account number to the stealth name?

Which bank are you using?
