Sole trade bank acc from Lloyds.Does it work for PP
 

I was offered both current acc and sole trader acc from Lloyds.They told there was no difference betw. them except sole trader can be with some different name as your trader name.Does someone know if it can be used for PP account in UK and for withrawing money in.Thanks

Leave Lloyds alone if you are operating under stealth conditions - and I do mean leave them alone!!!

yes i do mean it under stealth .am i going to have problems with them under stealth
As soon as i will need a couple of bank acc ,i thought it was a good option.

There are several good banks - Lloyds is not one of them

Yeah ive heard many bad things about Lloyds not accepting the withdrawals.

Stick to one of the following:
- Natwest
- Cooperative
- RBS
- Halifax

bank acc..i got through a lot of threads here and everyone write different things.i am from uk and use uk paypal ..i have 2 aged stealth acc and i dont want to ruin them by mistake of using ebay and pp in uk and usa.big differences.

To be honest you will be fine with the lloyds sole trader account becuase the problem with lloyds is usually name difference or one type of current account.

i was going to say i'll stake my rep on it but then realized i dont have one lol

Lloyds have two types of current acount and one kind is the ones that don't work with PP, I once went into the bank before i used an account with PP becuase i had problem with the last one, anyway it was the kind of current that didn't work with pp but the customer service manager added something to the system to allow it to work with PP and it did.

oh and my other current account work off the bat, im buggered if i can remeber the one that works and one that don't straaight away
