1900 limit--- Few Questions

i am reaching the 1900 limit on my stealth acc and im gonna supply the id and utility bill.
I just need to ask one thing, i registered the paypal acc as a business account and put a ***** Vat number in the box. LONG STORY WHY I DID THIS
Now will they check this?
I can either request to change to a premier account FIRST + PROVIDE ID and UTILITY BILL or PROVIDE ID and UTILITY BILL how it is and they wont check the vat number?
Which one is the better option

vat number can be lookd up, will they - maybe. know it is long story but you should not have done this,

i know - sigh- do you think its best to just leave it and submit id to remove limit or change to premier then submit?
Will it look dodgy changing first

not 100% sure but think you cannot change from business to premier,

has your paypal asked you yet for ids? if not you can keep it as low sell acc. they ask for docs at 1650 mark. if they already aksed, you got no choice but submit and cross fingers

Yes, you can change from business to premier.

All is needed to be done is click on "downgrade" in the help section of PP.

It can be done, but I heard only the once... :pop2:

correct, once you downgrade you not supposed to be able to upgrade to business again.

But you can.

Yeah thats fine... shall i do that before i reach the limit to send the docs or just leave it as it is with ⊗⊗⊗⊗ vat number?

It's a choice you have to make.

Personally , i would downgrade before the limit.

yeh thats good advice

thing is, only HMRC can see who vat number belongs to. Regular person can look up a vat number to see if valid but not who owns it, if they just have number. However if you have given business name and vat number, that makes it alot easier for them to find or not find you, and look in to it further...
