Lifting the limit of 10 items per month?

Right so i created a stealth account last week, and it is all up and running, have 1 listing on it...

Problem is, it has a selling limit of 10 items per month, i have read different views on this forum, one being that having a verified paypal account will lift the limit to 100, and the other is i need to verify paypal account plus have eBay business account....

Can anyone shed some light on this?

if everything is ok, it will rise itself after 90 days after the first sale. but also it can be a bit different for the UK sellers.

Verified PP account will lift you to 100 limit in the UK

I really hope so, just waiting on the paypal deposits to come to my account so i should find out soon enough. Although it would have ideal to verify Paypal first before i started selling, going to try that with my next stealth account.

I for one will be very interested to see if you can successfully raise your limits that way. I have been unable to.

Please can you report back once you are verified to let us know what the outcome its.

Thanks :)

Here in the UK at least, all my unverified 10/£350 OR 10/£650 have had limits raised to 100/£3500 once the PayPal has been verified.

Verified pp is generally more favourable.

No need for anyone to report back. Having a verified pp DOES allow you to have 100 items per month limit.

Once the pp is verified, click on link within eBay to request higher limits. A few clicks later the limit gets raised- easy.

Works for both business and personal accounts.

Yes the above is correct, its worked for me :)

Shame i only figured it out after i upgraded to a business account on eBay, did not want to do that whilst my eBay account is still a new born baby.

I have a verified PP with a linked BA - I just tried to raise the limits. It didn't work!

There is a similar thread here that I posted in that outlines what I did...

What did I do wrong?
