Asked an Ebay seller to dispatch to my real address
 

Bought an item through one of my stealth accounts and asked the seller privately (not through Ebay or Paypal) to dispatch to my real address! If they print the shipping label through Paypal and edit the address there will Paypal link my stealth account to my real address?

yes they might put it in paypal shipping.....it will probably be ok, but avoid it...I used to do it sometimes and never got linked.....

do you mean that a seller used Paypal shipping to input your real address (the one that you requested the item shipped to) and you had no problems? Obviously if the seller doesn't print the shipping label through Paypal I'll be safe, but what if they do? I wonder if Paypal runs checks on these?

when I did it, did not remember if they printed via paypal or not, a few must have. Do they run checks? doubt they do auto ones, maybe if you are getting manually checked for something else they could run across it....

If I were the seller I would have refunded the money and asked you to add the address as a delivery address on paypal or use another payment method.

Too many scammers and they loose what little seller protection they have.
