1 ip or different ip for eb & pp?

I try to run some new ebay & paypal account what s the better idea?1 ip all the time or change ip everytime?thanks a lot

if you use 1 ip all the time ebay/paypal will know who you are and you will have less problems.

if changing it all the time. ebay/paypal will start to question why are you logging in with all these different ip's. and you may get asked to verify things each time you log in with a new ip and try to sell an item.

best way is to have 1 ip per ebay/paypal account.

NO, most people have a dynamic changing ip, they cannot help it, it is the norm...cookies show you are you, ip changes all the time and they know it......

NO, nobody was talking about cookies. if you use 100 differant ip's in 10 days watch what happens! peace man!

to do this you would need to determine B4 you start what type of IP the accounts will use.

If your IP is static, ie never changes, then each account will need a different IP.

If your IP is dynamic, that is changes each time you sign on to the net, you must make a user account to correctly identify yourself to paypal/ebay by storing together the cookies. Cookies show who you are.

Having them displayed within the user accounts reduces the chances of a call from paypal/ebay asking why you appear foreign to them.

This is MOST important if you run more than one account.

Let me know exactly what IP you are using. That way we can confirm the correct method.

the idea is to use beay/paypal and always appear to be YOU. User accounts plsu cookies is the chosen working method :juggle:

Ip pls help!!!

i am going to run 2 ebays n 1 paypal(they r the same details) in the same user account by using static IP,is it ok?

ingle92protege 11-23-2011 07:10 AM

Yes, that is ok, snowben.

Just make sure that you don't use any other paypal and unlinked ebays with that ip

Then one IP will be fine to use just as you described now in this post. :thumb:

Hi, hope this is the correct thread, and sorry for repeating the question...

If I have different user accounts in windows (vista), different IP for each one, do I need to keep the cookies before and after each logon or delete them? I'm getting a little confused on the cookie issue...

Different user accounts are for different details (Eb-PP) obviously.

ingle92protege 11-26-2011 10:25 AM

If you're using different windows user accounts for each ebay/paypal account then you do not need to delete any cookies.

In fact it is better not to. Ebay likes recognizing you by the cookies

This Post is 100% INCORRECT, you CAN Log onto your Ebay account with as MANY IP Addresses as you want, I have Been doing so for MANY Years,,This is a FACT,,,as Long as the IP addresses are NOT Linked back to a Suspended account you will be fine,,

ShadyOne 11-30-2011 01:28 PM

Dynamic IP addressing is not important unless you have multiple accounts and even then, seperating cookies etc, comes first.

So if you are only having one stealth eBay account, using that static IP address is just the same as using dymanic.

Multiple stealth eBay accounts is when you take an interest in IP addresses. New user accounts first though.
